Age Limit: – Applicants age should not be less than 18 years and their upper age should not be above than 28 years; while age will be counted as on 01.08.2011.
Age Relaxation: – Benefit of upper age relaxation will be given to all reserved category candidates in such way: as 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for PH candidates. Candidates representing Ex-Serviceman, Widow community & Domicile of J&K are also eligible to get benefit of upper age relaxation as per rules permissible.

There will be a Data Entry Skill Test at speed of 8000 key depression per hour for post of Tax Assistant. Total marks will be 600 for other than Compiler post without interview.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern for Statistical Investigator Grade-II:

SSC CGL exam pattern 2012 will be same for Statistical Investigator Grade-II also in Tier-I exam. There will be Paper-I & II in Tier-II exam same as other than Statistical Investigator Grade-II with interview. There will be Paper-III (Statistics) also in Tier-II exam of SSC CGL for 200 marks. There will be an interview of 100 marks. There will be no proficiency/skill test for the post. Total marks will be 900 for Statistical Investigator Grade-II in SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam pattern 2012. 

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2012 for Compiler:

SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam Pattern 2012 for Compiler will be same as Statistical Investigator Grade-II for Tier-I and Tier-II. There will be no interview and no skill/proficiency test. Total marks will be 800 for Compiler post.

SSC CGL Syllabus for Tier-I Exam:

SSC CGL Syllabus 2012 for A – General Intelligence & Reasoning: there will be verbal and non-verbal type of questions. There will be questions from analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, figural classification and arithmetic number series.
