ITBP was established on 24th October 1962. Today, ITBP is Deployed on Border Guarding Duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Hachep La in Arunachal Pradesh. A recruitment notification has been issued by Indian Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) for filling up the vacant posts of Inspector, Head Constable and Constable. Job Details of Inspector, Head Constable and Constable Vacancy in ITBP
01. Inspector
Discipline: – Telecommunication
No. of Vacancies: – 11 (UR-08, SC-01, OBC-02)
Academic Qualification: – Bachelor Degree in Physics, Chemistry and Math or IT or Computer Science Discipline from any recognized Institution or University.
Applicants Age: – Applicants age should not be more than 25 years and not below than 20 years.
Salary: – Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month
02. Head Constable
Discipline: – Telecommunication
No. of Vacancies: – 275 (UR-159, SC-60, ST-19, OBC-37)
Educational Qualification: – Applicants must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Math Discipline form any recognized Institution or Board with minimum 45% marks.
Maximum Age: – Not more than 25 years as on 26th April 2012.
Salary: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
03. Constable
Discipline: – Telecommunication
No. of Vacancies: – 15 (UR-09, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-01)
Qualification: – Pass the 10th examination from any recognized Board or Institution and Diploma from Industrial Training Institution (ITI).
Pay Scale: – Rs. 5200-20200/-, GP Rs. 2000/- per month
Age Limitation: – Maximum Age 23 years.
04. Constable
Discipline: – Animal Transportation
No. of Vacancies: – 120 (UR-76, SC-21, ST-08, OBC-15)
Academic Qualification: – Matriculation from any recognized Board or Institution
Pay Scale: – Rs. 5200-20200/-, Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month
Applicants Age Limitation: – Applicants age must not be more than 25 years.
Physical Eligibility: -
- Height – 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST category candidates)
- Chest (For Inspector) – 80 – 85 cms (76 – 81 cms for ST category candidates)
- Chest (For Head Constable and Constable) – 80 – 85 cms (76 – 81 cms for ST category candidates)
